RS & Partners is a niche practice specialising in the retail and leisure sector. Russell is the founding Director of RS & Partners which he set up in 2020. Prior to that, he was Head of Retail & Leisure at Rapleys LLP, where he was an Equity Partner.

Experience Matters
Russell’s experience over the past 30 years has included a wide range of UK instructions for private landlords, tenants, funds and developers. He has been involved in the leasing and acquisition of high profile developments and has advised numerous national and local retailers on acquisitions throughout the UK. He has provided logistical and strategic advice to accelerate acquisition strategies. For landlords and funds he has advised on asset management initiatives across their portfolios.
Responsibilities involve advising on a variety of property sectors including mixed use, leisure, roadside, out-of-town and edge-of-town centre development schemes across the UK. He has extensive experience of retail and leisure agency and development work, dealing with the development of restaurants, food supermarkets and non-food retail sectors advising occupiers,developers and funds.
Specialist areas include mixed use, food store acquisitions for the mainstream national operators and restaurant acquisitions, for both High Street and Drive thru roadside users. Asset enhancement and marketing strategies for clients include lettings of District and Local Neighbourhood Centres, advising on tenant mix, scheme design/layout, density and viability. Other active sectors include Trade Counter, Self Storage and Retirement Living/Care Homes acquisitions.
